Nagarik Oikya convener Mahmudur Rahamn Manna on Tuesday said that the government had failed to ensure good governance in the country but was successfully repressing the opposition political parties.

At a discussion at Bangladesh Shishu Kalyan Parishad auditorium to open the new version of the party website Manna said that the government had failed to control dengue and return the Rohingyas to their homeland Myanmar in two years.

The people of the country will not allow such misrule of the government for a long time, Manna said.

He called on the opposition political parties to form greater unity to wage movement against the failures of the government.

The new version of the website was shown at the programme.

Chief adviser to Nagarik Oikya SM Akram, central leaders Mominul Islam, Shahidullah Kaiser, Mofakkharul Islam Nawab, Sorhab Hossain, Manzur Kader and others attended the programme.
